IHGG has active and emerging research themes that include: critical race and ethnic studies; community engaged scholarship; digital humanities and world heritage; global Asia; the medieval and early modern world, performance studies, and women, gender and sexuality. Students may pursue additional interdisciplinary research fields based on personal interest and faculty expertise.
