Bio: 
Nicolette is a Chinese American adoptee, artist and anthropologist. After graduating undergrad and earning her K-12 art teaching license, she worked within multiple museums and higher education departments, creating educational programming and coordinating various events. After advancing to candidacy within her doctoral program in May 2023, she began working on her dissertation focusing on reclaiming adoptee epistemologies through the expressive arts under the advisement of Critical Adoption Studies Professor Kit Myers. 2022 - 2023 & 2023 - 2024 IHGG Executive Committee Representative, 2023 - 2024 IHGG Conference Chair, 2023 Luce Fellow, 2022 Rudd Adoption Research Scholar
